Exploiting the need for expert qualification

“What was so great about the placement was that the experience helped me to make the company’s business more efficient whilst gaining a qualification and developing case studies for my students. Ultimately this programme will help bridge the skills gap and make UK industry more competitive.”

Oliver Kolontari, Lecturer in Maintenance Engineering, Dudley College of Technology

Skills4Auto and a group of leading training providers in the West Midlands created the Business Improvement Techniques NVQ to ensure that the automotive sector remains competitive on a global scale. However there is a serious shortfall in the number of education providers with the capacity to fulfil the existing industry demand for this programme. Therefore great opportunities exist for tutors willing to train to BIT standards.

Skills4Auto has developed a unique online training needs matrix, linked to the BIT NVQ website, to identify shortfalls in training resources. Having assessed your current situation and aspirations, we can expand your training capacity by matching needs with qualifications. You will then be directed towards mutually beneficial trainer-training programmes.

Future industry success can only be achieved through nurturing the manufacturing and management stars of the future. Talk to Skills4Auto now about how to expand your training qualifications to fulfil this need and share in the opportunity presented.
